Forge Camps & Clinics
Summer Adventure Awaits
See why our returning Summer Camp rate is so high…
Our summer programs are well staffed in order to provide the best specialized training in sport performance. Our carefully designed camps engage kids looking for focused fun and who are interested in trying out or diving deeper into an enrichment activity. Parents love our programs because camp activities support psychological, physical and emotional development. We pride ourselves in our ability to balance fun at camp while creating an environment fostering internal motivation.
Academy Camps are perfect for the beginner through intermediate level fencer who enjoys a wide array of activities, experiences, and being active. Equipment use is included in the camp fee. Campers are learning about themselves, how their bodies work, and connecting the cerebral world via competition through the ancient art of swordplay.
High Performance camps are geared towards people who have or are starting to identity as athletes. Progression is individually based, but we need teams to develop within. Athletes pursuing national rankings, supporting high school teams, and looking for the edge in college recruitment, are all found within our High Performance Camps. We also invite fencers who are contemplating joining one of our competitive teams, to take the opportunity to test their readiness at these camps.
Forge Teams camps are new this season. The focus is on building our future sport leaders with referee, coaching, and leadership development with a keen eye of equity and fairness as we evolve individual leadership skills. You can read more and register for Forge Teams events here.
Also new for Summer 2022 is a spectacular facility located at 610 N. Duke Street in Downtown Durham. We have 8,000 sq. feet and an high impact athletic flooring system. It is awesome!
Expect detailed email communications regarding what to expect, what to bring, and our healthy and safety protocols emailed prior to each camp as we navigate expanding programming coming out of the pandemic. Have questions? Email us.
