FORGE your summer 2023!

MORE INFORMATION

Our camps take place at our world class training facility located at 610 N. Duke Street in Downtown Durham. We have 8,000 sq. feet and an high impact athletic flooring system with grounded strips, and video reply system scheduled to be installed in Spring of 2023.

Expect detailed email communications regarding what to expect, what to bring, and our health & safety protocols emailed prior to each camp. Have questions before? Email us.

Camp Registration & Refund Policy. Your camper’s registration is confirmed when you have registered and paid for the camp. Expect a confirmation email from our system when you register, and detailed information email in the week leading to camp. Our camps typically have a 10:1 camper to professional coach ratio. Please register early to help us plan our staffing. Requests for refund must be submitted to info@forgefencing.com and requested before June 1st. Refunds will be issued via check, minus a $150 registration fee. No refunds will be issued from June 1 onward. Waitlists may be enacted for camps that are full, and we will contact waitlisted folks 2 weeks prior to confirm their ability to attend. Have questions or need assistance, please contact Jeff @forgefencing.com.

Our camps are fun, exciting, and fast paced! We are an inclusive community and do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, disability, religion, gender identity or sex. Fencing is a highly active & safe combat sport. Students will be learning this amazing Olympic-style sport from credentialed professionals – not teenagers! We do have Teen Leaders assisting the professional staff. If you are fencer looking to volunteer for a summer camp, please email jen@forgeteams.org.

Not sure if your child is ready for fencing camp? Please feel welcome to visit our community! Learn to Fence camps do not require any previous fencing experience, and we provide all the gear. Students do need to be able to follow instructions, comply with safety prompts, and work well in small groups.

Please note, these camps are physically active. Your child is going to experience potentially new movement patterns, muscle soreness, and feel challenged. The excitement of learning something new or connecting to a lifetime activity sport is rewarding and our community is extraordinary! Welcome to Summer 2023!
