Summer 2024 now planning!
Summer Adventure Awaits
See why our returning Summer Camp rate is so high…
Our summer programs are well staffed in order to provide the best specialized training in sport performance. Our carefully designed camps engage kids looking for focused fun and who are interested in trying out or diving deeper into an enrichment activity. Parents love our programs because camp activities support psychological, physical, and emotional development. We pride ourselves in our ability to balance fun at camp while creating an environment fostering internal motivation.
Learn to Fence! Our beginner camp is perfect for beginners and new fencers with less than 6 months experience. The camp is active, with a wide array of activities, games, fencing, and non-fencing activities which develop coordination and competitive skills that support any sport. Equipment use is included in the camp fee. Campers often are learning about themselves, how their bodies work, and the intellectual and competitive skills through the ancient art of swordplay.
Our Pre-Competitive Camp is our intermediate camp and is perfect for the developing fencer with at least 6 months of prior fencing experience. Some competitive experience is great, but not necessary. The focus of this camp is on furthering the fencers’ skill level, introducing them to competitive training situations, and enhancing their physical fitness & movement abilities. Students will be exposed to foil, epee, and saber through a wide array of games & activities to help foster their passion for the sport of fencing and can pick one sword for their training focus.
High Performance camps are our competitive training camps with a focus on team support and development. Participants need at least 1 year of competitive training, including individual lessons, and some competition experience. The goals of these camps are athletic development, building tactical & technical skills, and launching our competitive team as a force in the USA Fencing arena. Athletes pursuing national rankings, supporting high school teams, and looking for the edge in college recruitment, all find opportunities to support their development within our High Performance Camps and program.

Fencing is a highly active & safe combat sport. Students will be learning this amazing Olympic-style sport from credentialed professionals – not teenagers! We do have Teen Leaders assisting the professional staff. If you are fencer looking to volunteer for a summer camp, please email jen@forgeteams.org.
Not sure if your child is ready for fencing camp? Please feel welcome to visit our community! Learn to Fence camps do not require any previous fencing experience, and we provide all the gear. Students do need to be able to follow instructions, comply with safety prompts, and work well in small groups.
Please note, these camps are physically active. Your child is going to experience potentially new movement patterns, muscle soreness, and feel challenged. The excitement of learning something new or connecting to a lifetime activity sport is rewarding and our community is extraordinary! Welcome to Summer 2023!
