Equipment Information

Learn about fencing equipment and what you need to get started

Getting started in learning how to fence doesn’t need to be confusing or expensive when it comes to the equipment. Forge Fencing has loaner gear available to help you get started. On your fencing journey, you will begin to determine which fencing weapon(s) are your passion, and start to build a fencing kit.

Attended an orientation tonight with my 9 year old that has been begging to start fencing and I was BLOWN AWAY! Everyone was incredibly warm and welcoming. Coach Cathleen went above and beyond to show us around and introduce us to the sport. As someone who knows nothing about it, I never felt intimidated or out of place.
