This page outlines the pricing structure for the Forge CLE fencing club in Cleveland, OH. It includes details about membership options, which range from free for collegiate students and CSU alumni to paid options for drop-in bouting and semester-long lesson packages.

Open Bouting:
6:30-8:30pm on Tuesday and Thursdays for selected dates in Woodling Gym.

NCAA Compliance:
For the 2025-2066 season the NCAA has adopted to (a) Eliminate the requirement that all prospective student-athletes participating on a local sports club an institution’s coach is involved with live within a 50-mile radius of the institution; (b) Permit an institution’s athletics department or an institution’s athletics booster group to sponsor a local sports club that includes prospective student-athletes; (c) Permit an institution’s coach to provide private lessons to prospective student-athletes; and (d) Eliminate camp and clinic attendance restrictions. Details are below. By registering, you will get notifications via email about cancellations due to weather or volleyball, and upcoming events. Additionally, be sure to bring this signed waiver in order to participate. 

Open Bouting

FREE: Collegiate Drop-in Bouting Membership
Membership is free to any collegiate student no matter university or collegiate affiliation.

FREE: CSU Alumni
Please consider annual donations to the team to support the Vikings! Donate here & designate fencing. 

$20 Drop-in Bouting
Good for a one time drop-in.

$60 Drop-in Bouting for Semester
Local Cleveland club members who want access to unlimited open bouting participation.

$160 Drop-in Bouting for Semester FORGE MEMBER
Provides full access to Forge DUR and Forge CLE national and regional coaching when offered. You can designate your USA Fencing club as Forge CLE and have read and understand the athlete manual online. Those receiving coaching from Cleveland State coaching staff must live within a 50 mile radius of CSU. 

Semester Lesson Packages

Drop-in Lesson (20 min):
$50 includes a bouting fee and 1:1 individual lesson. Those receiving coaching from Cleveland State coaching staff must live within a 50 mile radius of CSU.

10 lessons a semester $400
