We are thrilled to welcome Coach Kamilla Gafurzianova as a guest coach to Forge Fencing later this month! An Olympic Silver Medalist with over 20 years of experience, Kamilla brings a wealth of knowledge as both a high-level athlete and seasoned coach. She holds three master’s degrees, with research in VR/AR applications in sports, and is passionate about innovation, athlete development, and adaptive fencing. Beyond coaching, she is also a strategist in sports marketing and education, dedicated to expanding performance and inclusion in fencing.

At Forge, Coach Kamilla will work with our teams, support foil and epee development, explore saber, and collaborate with Forge Teams leadership board to shape a strategic plan for our parafencing program. We are excited for the expertise and fresh perspective she brings to our community—stay tuned for more updates as she gets started!
