Maître Marie-Chantal Demaille is a three-time foil Olympian and former French National Coach. She is thrilled to host a clinic in the United States alongside her friend and mentee, Christophe Duclos. Christophe will act as her translator and host. The clinic is designed for fencers aged 30+ who want to work and train with a fencing master who specializes in foil and epee lifetime athletic development.


DATES and TIMES:

Friday, April 14th 5-6pm Meet and Greet. Clinic runs from 6-8pm. 

Saturday, April 15th from 9am-noon and 1:30pm – 4pm.

Sunday, April 16th from 9am-noon and 1:30pm – 4pm.

OPTIONAL ACTIVITIES:

Monday, April 17th 9am – noon training. 

Individual lessons with both Marie Chantal or Christophe ($40 per 20 minutes). 

Saturday Evening Dinner (Location and fixed-price meal TBD). 

HOUSING: Multiple housing options are within walking distance,  including a Marriott Residence Inn. We are adjacent to the neighborhood of Trinity Park if searching for temporary housing in Downtown Durham. A grocery store and a wide variety of food options are also within walking distance.

The FACILITY is a work of fencing art, 8,000 sq foot, fully accessible, with 16 full-size electric strips on a custom built athletic floor and one para platform. We have four bathrooms and one shower.

COST: $350 if registered before April 1st, includes camp fee only. $450 after April 1st, includes camp fee only. Prorates are $200 per day. Refunds sometimes need to happen. If it’s on us, you will be 100% refunded. If something happens on your end, there will be a $50 processing fee.
